The Backdrop:
Preventing sexual misconduct and relationship abuse requires an in-depth look at many related issues. Employing principles of Social Emotional Learning and Social Inoculation Theory, this “Primary Prevention” education both alerts participants to risk factors and provides actionable information for improving safety.
This program catalogue was developed with courageous survivors and professional advocates from widely various identities and backgrounds. It offers an array of powerful educational opportunities for schools & colleges, businesses, service providers, and community groups. Each program is engaging, research-informed, culturally responsive, lightly interactive, and promotes social equity.
All programs have been peer-reviewed and piloted. School-based programs are age-appropriate, reinforce standard Health curricula, and meet National Health Education Standards 1, 2, 4, 5, and 8.
Programs run 60 or 90 minutes
